Amplifier Research KAA4030P Overview
The Model KAA4030P is a wideband RF pulsed amplifier and is capable of 500 Watts pulsed output power over the frequency range of 0.5 MHz to 25 MHz. Power gain is 57 dB minimum. The system features: 500 Watts pulsed output power, Overdrive Protection (Automatic Level Control (ALC)); full VSWR Protection; two speed cooling fan, and Over-Temperature Protection, and RF gain control is available as an option. The Model KAA4030P is contained in a single 8.75-inch standard 19 inch EIA chassis suitable for either tabletop or rackmount operation. Construction is completely modular; all subassemblies are removable. Highly reliable tube-axial fans provide forced-air cooling. The amplifier operates from 187-265 VAC, 47-63 Hz line. The system may be placed in 'stand-by' mode with the BLANKING switch, which greatly reduces energy consumption and heat generation.
