The addition of an HP 85630A scalar test set provides the user interface with a powerful yet economical transmission/reflection measurement system. The scalar test set allows you to view transmission and reflection data simultaneously on the screen, so you can make adjustments on a device-under-test while monitoring the results. You can also make calibrated transmission and reflection measurements on a device using a single setup, without the usual need to recalibrate and reconfigure as with spectrum-analyzer-only systems
