HP / Keysight / Agilent E2071C Overview
The Agilent E2071C EISA high-speed GPIB interface card is designed for HP-UX workstations. With the E2071C, it is easy to control instruments and exchange data.
The E2071C is capable of a 750 KB/s data rate. The interface is supported by SICL and VISA (HP-UX 9.x is supported by SICL only, and not VISA). SICL and VISA let you work with open I/O libraries that are portable, regardless of the I/O interface or computer platform.
The GPIB interface card plugs into one EISA slot in the backplane of your S/700 controller. A GPIB cable connects the card to the command module in Slot 0 of the VXI mainframe or directly to a GPIB instrument.
