HP / Keysight / Agilent N4902B Overview
The N4902B is the industry-first serial BERT product to provide built-in true differential inputs/outputs, clock data recovery (CDR), enhanced jitter capabilities and unrivalled analysis and measurement functionalities for both present and future test needs.
With its broad frequency range and new features, Serial BERT 7 Gb/s sets a new standard for serial BER test equipment in the 6 Gb/s domain. The instrument''s unique new capabilities and its ability to address a broad range of applications and technologies in the semiconductor and communication industry will help customers to protect investment made in measurement instrumentation. The N4902B Serial BERT 7 Gb/s is upgradeable to a N4901B Serial BERT 13.5 Gb/s.
The new Serial BERT 7 Gb/s provides a comprehensive software and measurement suite combining the analysis capabilities of the 71612 and new measurement capabilities known from the 81250 ParBERT platform. Key measurements are: output timing (RJ/DJ Separation, bathtub curve, setup & hold time), output level (Q-factor, average power), eye opening and BER.
