Synthesized Signal Generator The Racal-Dana 9082P is a Synthesized Signal Generator designed primarily for the testing of radio communications equipment. With its frequency range of 1.5 MHz to 520 MHz in five bands, this generator is capable of a wider range of applications. Output frequency an 8-digit LED display. The resolution is 100 kHz in FAST TUNE, 1 kHz in SLOW TUNE and 10 Hz in HOLD. Internal frequency standard of 5 MHz, external frequency input of 1 MHz, minimum level 100 mV rms into 1 kohm. Output level of -130 to +13 dBm into 50 ohm and stepped output level switch provides attenuation from 0 to 120 dB in 10 dB steps. Frequency modulation 40 Hz, 1 kHz, and 5 kHz (internal); 20 Hz to 100 kHz (external). Amplitude modulation 400 Hz, 1 kHz, and 5 kHz (internal); DC to 20 kHz (external).
