Tektronix 80C06 Overview
The 80C06 is an optical sampling module designed for use in Tektronix' CSA8000 Communications Signal Analyzer and TDS8000 Digital Sampling Oscilloscope. The 80C06 optical module is the only solution available with 50 GHz bandwidth and the performance necessary to support emerging characterization and measurement requirements for OC-768/STM-256 signals. The 80C06 will enable network equipment makers to develop 40 Gb/s OC-768/STM-256 components and systems. The 80C06 module uniquely handles average input power levels up to 20 milliwatts (mW). This lets the user input a higher power level signal, improving the signal-to-noise ratio of the acquired signal.
