Hart Scientific 9131 Overview

The Hart Scientific 9131 HDRC Blackbody Temperature Calibrator is a small, portable instrument designed for quick on-site checks and calibration of infrared (IR) thermometers and sensors.

The 9131 features a one-inch diameter aperture with a 0.95 emissivity. A 1/8-inch diameter reference well allows insertion of a small PRT for reference or unit calibration.

The 9131 is controlled by a microprocessor based digital PID temperature controller and uses a precision platinum RTD as a sensor with a heater to control the target temperature. The temperature may be set to any point within the range of 35 to 400 degrees C in 0.1 degree increments.

The 9131 was designed for portability, speed, and ease of operation. The unit's multiple fault protection devices ensure user and instrument safety and protection.
