The Wandel & Goltermann SPM16 Selective Level Meter contains a synthesizer whose special features are low spurious modulation at frequency changeovers and high spectral purity. The Wandel & Goltermann SPM16's frequency can be set via a keypad, tuned continuously, or tuned via step and automatic step facilities. The Wandel & Goltermann SPM16 is ideal for sweep measurements as its frequency can be varied without causing phase discontinuities. When measuring the total signal level, the microprocessor control ensures that the signal drive range of the level measuring section is optimal.
