The HP 11635A bias decoupling network prevents bias oscillations from occurring when applying bias to transistors or negative resistance devices through HP bias networks or S-parameter test sets.
The 11635A should be used when biasing any transistor through the following S-parameter test sets that have a serial number preceding or including the one indicated in the table below. If the test set has ˜a later serial number, the HP 11635A should be used only when biasing bipolar transistors.
