HP / Keysight / Agilent E1383A Overview
The Agilent E1383A VXLink provides a direct connection from your PC to a VXI mainframe. VXLink includes an ISA card that installs in your PC (Note: limited to one VXLink and one card cage per PC), a B-size, 1 - slot, message-based commander VXI module that plugs into the VXI mainframe, and a 3-meter cable that connects the two. VXLink does not require a separate command module in the VXI mainframe; the VXLink VXI module goes into slot 0. System performance is greater than those VXI systems configured with a command module.
VXLink includes complete development software. The software includes EPConnect, SICL, VISA, I - SCPI drivers, and other software tools that dramatically reduce the time and effort required to develop and integrate your system. VXLink requires 64 K of upper memory in either the D000 or E000 upper memory block.
