The E1609A is a single slot, high speed, ATM Stream Processor (ASP) module providing users of the Broadband Series Test System with a tool for testing the traffic management characteristics of next-generation ATM switches. The product is primarily focused on testing the key functions described in ATM Forum’s Traffic Management Version 4.0 specification. This specification is central to ATM traffic management compliance and interoperability. The E1609A operates at rates up to 622 Mb/s.
