The new L4600A Radio Test Set is a versatile, rugged and reliable radio tester that is easy to use when testing FM and SINCGARS radios with a set of easy step-by-step "Guided Measurements". The ease of use reduces training and troubleshooting time as well as the need for in-depth measurement knowledge. At the same time, it fulfills the needs of the more advanced user with built-in "bench top" functionality.
With a few button presses, the L4600A can transform into a spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal analyzer, signal generator, or an arbitrary waveform generator! You can add an optional interference analyzer to look for intermittent, interfering signals or check adjacent channel power leakage. You can even add an option that allows you to produce your own customized/secure waveforms.
The L4600A incorporates technology from Agilents commercial radio testers used widely in the wireless market. The L4600As lightweight, weather-resistant, fully sealed structure features RF shielding and integrated heat distribution for reliable field operation while its 10.4 inch transflective color display enables you to view data in darkness, shade, direct sunlight, and at wide viewing angles. It operates over 2 MHz to 2.5 GHz frequencies and its architecture can accommodate future technologies, such as JTRS radios up to 2.5 GHz as well as other formats.
