Exfo EPX000 Overview
The EPX16 is an affordable, flexible, multi-use telecom test system that is also simple to use. EXFO Gnubi developed the EPX16 with a focus on simultaneous testing of multiple signal rates and protocols (OC-N, STM-N, DS3, DS1, E1, etc.) within a single chassis. The EPX16 can extend the usefulness of your current testers by providing a multi-channel active regenerator with independent error and alarm insertion.
With up to 17 Telecom Test Boards per chassis, the EPX16 has the flexibility to perform many different tasks within one hardware platform. The combination of multiple rates, protocols, and channels within a single chassis makes the EPX16 ideal for Cross-Connect, ADM, WDM, production and load testing. Direct Internet Access capability and a Java 1.1 based Graphical User Interface (GUI) make the EPX16 a powerful tester that is simple to use.
The EPX000 CPU Module performs all necessary communications, status, and monitoring needed by the EPX System and all installed test modules. The CPU features a Web server engine running on a PC based Platform with a hard drive for test data logging and test configuration storage. Remote communications are available through the standard RS-232 or Ethernet interfaces.
